Helping the Unhoused

The purpose of this message is to seek support for our upcoming “Iota Xi at-Large Chapter Helping the Unhoused” project. We are requesting hygiene items for unhoused persons and will deliver them to a shelter in Broward County. Items to be collected may include, but are not limited to: 

• Soap
• Deodorant
• Toothpaste
• Toothbrush
• Hand sanitizer
• Socks

We will deliver these items to the shelter on the morning of Wednesday, April 30, 2025. We will submit the donations to The Caring Place/Miami Rescue Mission Broward Outreach Center. Address: 2056 Scott Street, Hollywood, FL 33020. Items received after this date will be still be collected and delivered to the site.
